I don't believe that there are only English speaking people on this project. There should be at least one person from Russia/CIS countries

We are a global server, we have players and staff from all corners of the world. We don't have lots of players from that particular area yet and we do require all players to speak in English when playing :) 

I am myself from a country that does not use English as an official language, and is not far from that area but is not there itself. Those who talked to me on server and I consider my buddies know more. :D
And yes I do talk English on the server, because that is what the people here know, and as it is mostly for children it seems logical that players come from those contries that mostly speak English. You are welcome to play, no one is gonna judge you based on your language skills or from where you are. Only thing that matters is to be friendly.

We've had a lot of Russian and Ukrainian players join recently... some have been approved but haven't joined yet, so we'll get more and more.

Still, as FunMummy said, everyone will have to speak English on the server anyway though.

Yup, I think you should have been whitelisted today actually. Or yesterday? I've been trying to get through them as quickly as I can but that one video had millions of views and there are many more videos and instagram posts like it. So we're busy!
