It's lighter if the player is not on the server of course. So yea everybody can just stop logging in and the server will be super light and fast with 0 players LOL
BTW I just asked chatGPT and yea it says that its better for the server to just stand in one place even if its a mob farm that like flying, building, mining, teleporting and doing other stuff that is using a lot of server efficiency to load new chunks all the time and all of the information about new blocks all the time rather than just you loaded one chunk where is you farm and you stand here ;)
Let's just clarify that. I agree with that 100%. When I was lagging so hard for like 2 weeks it was all right at my farms but when I teleported it was a nightmare.
ChatGPT answer:
"For a Minecraft server, it’s almost always lighter on resources when a player is AFK in one place (for example at a mob farm) compared to actively flying around and loading new chunks."
So cute and nice! <3
Yup, I understand it's mainly about me. I will now not be connected to the server while I am working on my other MacBook...
However, I don't feel that I did anything wrong or against the rules. Or anything that bothered other players. I gave away the gold I farmed to many players, and I used the credits I earned to buy diamond rank or /fly or unlimited /sethomes for my people on the server.
But yea its your server and your rules :)
Nice job, friend!
