I know the site says it ranges from few minutes to 2 weeks, but is there a current idea of what the time is within that range? I just reached past 2 weeks and I'm curious.

we don't have a estimated time but how long will it take is how long Is a piece of string. 

It can take weeks or months to be accepted but you'll get an email that'll tell you that you've been accepted.

yeah, I had to wait 2 months for my application to be accepted. AutismFather is a busy man and he'll try and approve as many applications as he can in his time.

I believe so, but it is unlikely you would be denied, the criteria are very simple. Autcraft has recently had an influx of players creating higher waiting times.
