Having issues finding ores? Well this forum is just for you!
Best Y levels for Overworld ores:

Best way to strip-mine (or my way):
The best way to strip-mine is by digging a long 1x2 tunnel every 2 blocks, making sure there are 2 blocks between each tunnel.

Diamonds are better to mine right above lava level, whilst not the most, still good amount and much safer.
You can pick which way you want, this is just a recommendation
